Mechanism of Action: Photonic Lipolysis

Contraindications & Risk Information

The following conditions may preclude treatment or require physician review before proceeding:

• Active cancer or malignancy in the treatment area

• Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy

• Active infection, open wounds, or lesions in the neck, chin, chest or face treatment areas

• Photosensitizing medications (discuss with your physician)

  • Antibiotics: Doxycycline, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, and levofloxacin.

  • NSAIDs: Naproxen, piroxicam, and ketoprofen.

  • Diuretics: Hydrochlorothiazide and furosemide.

  • Retinoids: Isotretinoin and acitretin.

• Implanted electronic devices (e.g., pacemakers, Inspire, cochlear implants) near the treatment field

• Known hypersensitivity to light therapy

• Uncontrolled thyroid disease

• Severe coagulopathy or active anticoagulant therapy without physician clearance
